MAKING IT WORK Messier’s Recording Studio opened it’s doors in 2000 to serve the needs of the local music scene. Our studio is located in the Village of Swanton, Vermont. We are one hour from Montreal, Canada, forty minutes from Burlington, Vt, and fifty minutes from Plattsburgh, N.Y. We offer 128 track (sixty-four audio) digital recording and mixing services. Our studio is capable of producing your music project from start to finish. We also have an extensive list of professional musicians available for recording sessions. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION The studio is located in a commercial building that has undergone extensive renovations to become one of the leading recording studios in northern Vermont. Clients of MESSIER’s RECORDING STUDIO have the pleasure of working in a well-balanced acoustic and beautiful aesthetic surrounding. Our recording studio has a large recording room (the red room), two separate isolation booths, a drum room and a new larger control room. We also have a foyer and kitchenette to help our clients relax during occasional session breaks. Recording and mixing in a professional dedicated commercial building separates our studio from the rest. Industry Standard Compatibility MESSIER’S RECORDING STUDIO uses Digidesign Pro Tools for professional results. Pro Tools is used by more professionals and major studios that any other recording system. Using our Pro Tools System ensures that your music projects can be play or transported to other professional facilities for additional development or collaborations. THE SECRET BEHIND OUR LOW STUDIO RATES Many of our clients are often amazed at our low studio rates. The secret behind what we are able to charge a client is based upon our extremely low overhead costs. We are fortunate to be proud owners of our facility. We are able to pass along a substantial savings to our clients instead of paying a hefty rent or mortgage. One could expect to pay two to three times our studio rate at a comparable studio.
